Thank you to Maureen for this duffle coat poem!

We were over the moon when Maureen won our recent International Duffle Coat Day competition.

Not just because it made her day. But because we discovered that Maureen only writes in verse.

We thought it was a one-off when she sent us her duffle coat picture, but we’ve since received two more poems from Maureen.

When Maureen received her prize for winning the competition – a child’s duffle coat – she took photos on a recent day out, and shared them with us.

So we thought we’d share them – and the poem – with you.

Duffles off to Maureen for writing in rhyme!

To all at Duffle Coats UK,

My coat has arrived! I’m thrilled as can be,

It’s like it was made just especially for me.

It’s beautifully made, the stitching’s so fine.

I’m so very proud that this coat is mine.

The colour is gorgeous, the lining’s sublime

It arrived at my door in a very quick time,

I’m still filled with joy that I actually won.
