Sock making started in the factory in 1895 in the village of Hathern, in the Heart of England, where it still resides today run by the 4th and 5th generation of the same family. Each of these beautifully warm woollen socks has been manufactured here in England using traditional methods.

The range we sell has evolved over the years, but our Montgomery range of socks concentrates on the making by traditional double cylinder methods and then hand linking the final product. This reflects the care and attention that has been given to the manufacturing of the socks, which has been built up for over 100 years.
